zoey’s first snow day

It’s a cold, cold week here in K.C., and my new black lab seems to have fallen in love with the snow quite quickly.  We went out Monday morning as it was coming down in thick, white flakes.  At first confused and a bit alarmed she wouldn’t find her bones, she realized shortly after that it’s a ton of fun to roll around in – and I dare say, there’s not much cuter than a black dog in white snow.

Here she is sniffing away upon her first discovery of our white backyard.

I love this dog.  A whole, whole lot.  She’s been such a gift.

    Great dog…….great photographer……loving dog owner…….it is fun like this that makes winter bearable. Love you!!
